of a Down drummer John Dolmayan commented on the official post announcing Ego Kill Talent as the opening act for his band's South American tour.
In his comment, Dolmayan defended the choice and scolded fans who had criticized him: “To music fans, I’m noticing some unfair negativity directed at the band. To be clear, Ego Kill Talent is opening for System because that’s what System wants. We are old and dear friends, we enjoy playing together and we like the music!”
“I know there are many great bands in Brazil and South America as a whole. Many were introduced to us by the same people some of you are hating on. Stop it, grow up and control your hate. We are planning great things for the future and many, many bands will be a part of it, but if you think insulting one band to promote another is the right way to go, you are a complete idiot.”
