Corabi was the lead singer of the group between 1992 and 1996
Former Mötley Crüe vocalist John Corabi revealed he was "surprised" to appear in the band's biopic, The Dirt, released in March by Netflix.
Corabi joined the group in 1992 when Vince Neil left due to personal differences with the other members. He remained with the group for four years, participating in their self-titled 1994 album.
During an interview with LA Weekly , Corabi said that to this day he considers Mötley Crüe to be Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee , and Mick Mars , so "he didn't expect anything more than that."
