Legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham will have his story told in the first official biography titled Beast: John Bonham And The Rise Of Led Zeppelin . The book was written by music journalist CM Kushins and will be released on September 7th of this year.
The foreword was written by Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters , and the book will have a total of 384 pages. Beast will recount the drummer's journey from the beginning, through his greatest moments with Led Zeppelin. See the book cover below.
John Bonham passed away on September 25, 1980, at the age of 32. In December of the same year, the group officially ended its activities.
