John 5 , current guitarist for Mötley Crüe , commented on the band's upcoming work.
In an interview with the Illinois Entertainer , he said that they recorded "some songs" with producer Bob Rock , who has worked with Mötley Crüe on other occasions.
“The other day, Nikki [ Sexx ] called me and he was playing guitar on the phone and playing a riff and singing a melody, and it sounded like it could be something from Too Fast For Love ,” he revealed.
“It’s natural for him to write these songs that I loved and that many other people loved. I think we’ll always be making new music because, man, this guy is producing incredible lyrics and great music. When we all get together, it’s very magical.”
Nikki Sixx posted on his social media in April 2023 about the recordings: “We’re writing. The creative songwriting process has always been at the heart of our band. We’re going into the big studio next week and we’ll see what happens. We don’t have a definite plan at this point. We’re just letting the songs guide us.”
