John 5 , guitarist for Rob Zombie , will release his new solo album, Sinner, on October 29th, and the project's first single, "Qué Pasa," was originally created from a sample that John chose to re-record with the vocals of Dave Mustaine from Megadeth .
Regarding Mustaine's involvement in the song, John commented: “It was a complete honor because we have a James Brown , and it's very difficult to top James Brown. But Mustaine was perfect because he has that growl, that voice. The result was epic, and I'm very excited and honored to have him on the track.”
“I love these instrumental tracks with good vocal hooks or something close to that. It makes everything so different and interesting. The result was perfect, I’m super happy. When I played [the song] for him, he approved. I’m very, very happy with it,” concluded John 5.
Recently, Dave Mustaine was the target of controversy for openly expressing his disapproval of mandatory mask use during a concert, calling the safety measure a "tyranny" carried out by the government, schools, and health services.
