Jordison speaks highly of the band
Former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison spoke in an interview on the podcast “One On One With Mitch Lafon” about his former bandmates.
Jordison was fired from Slipknot for reasons that have not yet been detailed, but the musician revealed last year that he suffers from transverse myelitis, a degenerative neurological disease that has affected his legs, and that the discovery of the disease came shortly before his departure.
In the interview, Jordison said: “Without Slipknot, I wouldn’t be where I am today. And I couldn’t express in an interview right now what all the people I worked with, the songwriting partners, all the producers, all the albums, tours, everything we did meant and the great things we did together. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Those guys are my brothers forever, I love them very much and want the best for them.”
