Twisted Sister will have another major lineup change for their reunion shows. In addition to introducing Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) as the new vocalist, the group also confirmed that Joey Cassata will take over on drums for the upcoming performances, replacing Joey “Seven” Franco, who had initially been announced for the position.
Cassata, known for his work with artists like Ace Frehley, celebrated on social media . “Super excited (and more than honored) to play drums for this legendary band! I’ve been a fan since I was 8 years old… and now this?! It’s simply surreal. You can’t stop rock and roll,” he said.
The change comes at a time of reorganization for the band, which had planned a 50th-anniversary tour since its formation, but canceled it last month. Currently, only guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda remain as confirmed classic members for the shows.
So far, the only confirmed date in the official announcement is the performance at the Alaska State Fair on September 4th. The band will announce more shows in the coming weeks.
