Joey Belladonna , vocalist of Anthrax , revealed that he is already recording his parts for the band's next album.
In a video shared on his social media, he said: “What’s up? Today’s the day. Getting ready to record a new album. Doing some vocals starting today. I’m excited.”
The band had already started recording the new album in May, and according to Scott Ian , the band's guitarist, "The songs are killer, challenging and a lot of fun to play, a real Riff-O-Rama."
Ian also gave more details about the band's new work on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk ( via Blabbermouth ): “I think we’ve come a long way, so to speak. We’re going to have another recording session in October, maybe November. Charlie has those two dates free and we have another four or five [songs] that we want to record. If things continue at this looser pace we’re at, I like to think that between Christmas and New Year’s we’ll have most of it ready. Maybe unmixed, but definitely recorded.”
The upcoming album will be Anthrax's first since 2016, when they released For All Kings .
