Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna spoke in an interview with "The Metal Podcast" about his happiness in being in Anthrax. Here's what he said:
"I'm happy. I'm not very happy or anything like that. Because it's not really like that with this band for me. Everyone is an individual and everyone does their own thing. I mean, we have good times, no doubt. I think we have the best possible time without anyone having to call home, be on the computer or on their cell phone looking at messages or be on Facetime, you know."
In 2014, Belladonna even said in an interview that he had no friends in Anthrax , stating: "I don't think I ever really found my place in the band .
