The band wasn't successful at the time, and the guitarist soon pursued a solo career.
A collection of previously unreleased demos from Joe Satriani , The Squares , will be released. On April 5th, Strange Beautiful Music will make available eleven tracks recorded and mixed by John Cuniberti .
Best Of The Early '80s Demos was a project Satriani recorded alongside bassist and vocalist Andy Milton , who passed away in 1999, and drummer Jeff Campitelli . Upon announcing the release, the guitarist revealed that the band ended when he decided to pursue a solo career, which was a good choice considering The Squares hadn't achieved success at the time.
