The band has no plans to enter the studio yet

In an interview with Best Classic Bands, Joe Perry of Aerosmith confessed that he hopes to make a new album with the band.

Perry says that he and his colleague Steven Tyler have already discussed the matter, but at the moment everyone is busy with their solo projects and hasn't had the chance to put the plans into practice.

"I'd really like to write new songs for Aerosmith. Things are kind of at a standstill for the band ," he says.

The new album would be the successor to Music From Another Dimension!, and the musician hopes to convince the band to enter the studio soon.

Joe Perry will release his new solo album Sweetzerland Manifesto on January 19th via Roman Records.
