Robin Zander, Robert and Dean DeLeo participate in the track by the Aerosmith and Hollywood Vampires guitarist
Guitarist Joe Perry brought together Robin Zander ( Cheap Trick ), Robert DeLeo and Dean DeLeo ( Stone Temple Pilots ) at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, and the meeting resulted in a music video for the track "Aye Aye Aye," from his solo album Sweetzerland Manifesto , released in January of this year.
Rolling Stone magazine , “Robin and I always talk about writing songs together.” He goes on to say that he was in Los Angeles when he received a call from Zander saying he had an idea for a new song. “So he came to meet me and six hours later, ‘Aye Aye Aye’ was born,” he reveals.
On the album Sweetzerland Manifesto , Perry also features David Johansen, Terry Reid, Zak Starkey , and his sons, Tony and Roman.
