Guitarist says he's happy to be out of the band.

In an interview with PremierGuitar, guitarist Joe Bonamassa said he was fed up with Black Country Communion.

Bonamassa said that although the band's first two albums were great, he's tired of the band's atmosphere.

In September 2012, Hughes had stated that the band wasn't touring because of Bonamassa's solo work, which prevented the band from being a complete success.

According to Bonamassa, Hughes' criticisms were the reason for the lack of touring. "I'm happy not to be involved in the band anymore, and there are many guitarists out there who can take my place."

Bonamassa concludes by saying: “I’m happy to have left this legacy, we made great albums. It was three great years for me.”

In an interview with Wikimetal this month, the band's keyboardist Derek Sherinian said that the band should continue without Joe Bonamassa.
