João Gordo has an incredible project underway during the pandemic to help homeless people, who are now in an even more vulnerable situation. In April, we spoke with him about Solidariedade Vegan (Vegan Solidarity) , and he told us how he and his wife , Vivi Torrico, deliver vegan meals in the downtown area of São Paulo.
Now, with Christmas approaching, the couple has started the Solidarity Christmas campaign , where you can help not only with money for the meals but also for other basic needs such as soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, sanitary napkins, toilet paper, deodorants, and razors.
Donations will be accepted until December 18th in the west zone of São Paulo. More information can be found on the project's official Instagram page.
