João Gordo transforms MPB into punk in his new album 'Brutal Brega: MPB Mode'.

João Gordo has released his newest album, Brutal Brega MPB Mode , in which he transforms MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) songs into punk.

Produced by Val Santos ( Toyshop , VIPER ), the album features songs such as "Tropicana," "A Filha da Chiquita Bacana," and "Cavaleiro de Aruanda."

The new album is a sequel to Brutal Brega (2022), which featured songs in the "brega" style, such as those by Sidney Magal and Reginaldo Rossi .

The cover art and visual design are the work of Wagner Loud , and the music videos were directed by Raul Machado .

Brutal Brega: MPB Mode is available on streaming platforms and on CD at the Wikimetal Store .
