João Gordo left the ICU after being admitted on Saturday with a severe case of pneumonia.

The singer's wife, Vivi Torrico , posted a message reassuring fans. “Good news! JG has been discharged from the ICU and is going to a regular room. These days have been very intense, full of reflection, where above all we felt the love of dear friends and the positive vibes from all the tribes we've been around. We feel this challenge as another opportunity that João will seize to heal everything he needs. We are very grateful for the love and all the positive vibes that are emanating! Now we move on to this next stage,” she said on Instagram.

The singer had been admitted to the ICU once again with pneumonia, according to a statement released by the band Ratos de Porão .
