Founded in Donetsk, Ukraine, the band faced significant challenges, including the political and social tensions of their home country. Even so, they managed to reach the international scene through perseverance and talent.
Although the band started in 2009, Tatiana Shmayluk joining as vocalist in 2010 was a turning point, defining Jinjer's sound and visual identity.
