Yesterday, the 17th, Jinjer brought news to fans with the music video for the track "Home Back".
The seventh single from the band's prestigious album, Macro , carries significant visual importance for the band, given its anti-war message, particularly considering the political situation faced by the region where the members are from, Ukraine.
“War… war never changes, never stops,” states bassist Eugene Abdukhanov . “No matter how much mourning, misery, suffering, and pain it brings, there will always be individuals who will reap the benefits or simply relish the power. They will motivate others to march and kill in the name of… for the love of… if we really look closely… for nothing.”
“It’s really hard for me to understand how people in the 21st century still believe there’s something to fight for or some battlefield,” he continues. “We all depend on some major economies in the world and their national conditions. We’re all typing on the internet. And yet… every day people are motivated to kill their true brothers and sisters on our only common land that we call Earth. Then 2020 arrives and there’s a glimmer of hope that this might be a turning point. That common threat will threaten to unite us all and this might be the beginning of a new era… but no. They march and kill.”
