Ukrainian metal sensation Jinjer has announced the cancellation of its Latin American tour scheduled for May, which included seven dates in Brazil. The tour had been announced in 2019 and initially postponed due to the pandemic.

The decision is motivated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which is why Jinjer had already canceled their scheduled shows in the United States for March and April, including their participation in the Knotfest Roadshow.

The band members Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitar), Eugene Abdukhanov (bass), and Vladislav Ulasevish (drums) currently reside in Kyiv and intend to focus on the safety of their families during this delicate time; therefore, there are no new dates for performances. Only the vocalist Tatiana Shmailyuk is currently in another country.

“Dear brothers and sisters of Latin America, it is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we have to cancel our upcoming tour in May and have decided not to book any new tour dates for the time being. Thank you so much to the promoters for believing so much in the band and to each of you for holding onto your tickets for the past two years, but we don’t want you to hold onto them any longer. We promise we will meet again someday,” the band said in a statement.

Wallflowers album promotional tour were canceled .

KLF Productions , responsible for Jinjer's shows in São Paulo, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre, will announce three more international acts coming to Brazil soon and requests that fans use their tickets as credit for these upcoming shows. Those who wish can request a refund through the Help Center between May 21st and July 21st.
