An animated video by Jimmy Page tells the story of the Telecaster guitar.

Jimmy Page 's iconic "mirrored" guitar has been released by Fender. In addition, the company released a video of the Led Zeppelin explaining the history of the instrument.

In January, the legendary company announced two replicas to mark Led Zeppelin's 50th anniversary: the "Mirrored" and "Dragon" models.

To celebrate the release of the guitars, an animated video clip of Page was released with details about the instrument. The video is called Jimmy Page's '59 Telecaster Mystical Journey.

He recounts the moment Jeff Beck gave him the guitar. “He said, ‘Here, this is yours,’ and handed me the Telecaster,” Page said. The guitarist also discussed how he really wanted to “make the guitar truly his.” “I tried applying mirrors so that it could be used in a visual way,” he recalls. “With the reflective surfaces, you could throw light at other things; it made it look kinetic at the same time.”
