The book Jimmy Page in Brazil will tell the long and curious story of the legendary Led Zeppelin in Brazil and among Brazilians.

In addition to headlining historic shows and meeting great artists from the country, Page spent a good amount of time in Bahia and inaugurated Casa Jimmy to shelter homeless youth in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, an incredible initiative that earned him the title of Honorary Citizen of Rio de Janeiro, and rightfully so

“The guitarist’s relationship with Brazil is long-standing and extremely intense,” says Leandro Souto Maior , journalist and musician responsible for the book. “This story is rarely told in biographies and books about Led Zeppelin published worldwide. Very few lines are dedicated to the subject. Jimmy Page in Brazil , therefore, will fill an important gap in Jimmy Page’s history.”

The book, which will feature interviews with names like Gilberto Gil, Nando Reis, Roberto Frejat, Daniela Mercury, and many others, is being published by Garota FM Books, which is currently running a crowdfunding campaign on Catarse.
