Jimmy Page spoke about the possibility of a Led Zeppelin reunion . The last time the band reunited was in 2007 , when Jason Bonham replaced his father , John Bonham, on drums. The performance was officially released on DVD under the name Celebration Day .
Speaking to Metro , the guitarist said that the band's future "is the past," because, according to him, "you can't argue with the past." (via 89FM )
Page also commented that ABBA 's avatar show could serve as an example for Led Zeppelin . According to him, the concept "is so cleverly put together" and "is musicality like a textbook for musicians."
The musician, concluding his answer, joked about his age. He is currently 81 years old. The guitarist said that "maybe, in about 20 years" he "will be able to do that" – referring to a new reunion of the band.
If the reunion doesn't happen, Led Zeppelin can relive the quartet's most iconic moments with the documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin , which premieres in Brazilian cinemas on February 27th.
The film, directed by Bernard MacMahon, was the first film officially authorized by the band and features previously unseen footage and testimonials about the creation of their first albums and behind-the-scenes moments from their tours.
