Jimmy London reunited Rats , a Rio de Janeiro rock group with Irish, folk, and country roots, to launch a new project called Jimmy & Rats. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, Jimmy & Rats released their first album with the new lineup, Só Há Um Caminho a Seguir (There's Only One Way to Go).

The album, released this Friday, the 26th, brings together Fernando Oliveira (banjo and mandolin), Kito Vilela (guitar and vocals), Gajo Loko (accordion and tin whistle), Bruno Pavio (bass) and Pedro Faucom (drums). Só Há Um Caminho a Seguir features 14 tracks that showcase the strength of the former Matanza member.

“I’ve never had so many instruments, so many weapons at my disposal to make a revolution,” Jimmy London said in a statement to the press. “The result is this violent mess of various voices singing about our journeys to find our audience.”
