English bassist Jim Rodford died last Saturday (20) after falling down a flight of stairs, aged 76. The death was confirmed through a post made by his cousin, Rod Argent, on The Zombies fan page .
Besides The Kinks, Jim was part of The Zombies and was one of the founders of Argent. His last performance was on January 10th, with The Zombies.
Jim Rodford was a member of The Kinks from 1978 to 1996, where he participated in 7 studio albums: Low Budget (1979), Give the People What They Want (1981), State of Confusion (1983), Word of Mouth (1984), Think Visual (1986), UK Jive (1989) and Phobia (1993).
Jim Rodford was born on July 7, 1941, in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England.
