Jéssica di Falchi confirmed that she is not the new member of Mastodon .
Crypta guitarist gave an interview to the Tenho Mais Discos que Amigos backstage at Lollapalooza Brasil 2025 , last Sunday (30), and explained: [transcription via Igor Miranda ]
“I made a post playing Mastodon, and everyone thought I was going to join Mastodon. It was intentional that I disappeared [after making the post], because I knew about my participation with Tool. It was supposed to be a surprise. No, guys, I'm not joining Mastodon. But I am on stage with Tool. The message I want to convey with this is that I want to be on stage, I love being on stage, and that's what I want to continue doing, I want to continue playing guitar.”
Jéssica di Falchi announced in March her departure from the band Crypta . An official member of the band since 2023, the guitarist posted a thank you message on social media stating that the decision came from the musician herself and was made by mutual agreement, with full support and respect from the band.
