Jenna Ortega surprised everyone by revealing in an interview that she would include Deftones and Nine Inch Nails on the soundtrack of her newest film Scream VI , which is now available in theaters.

“It’s kind of basic, but it also goes along with this movie: ‘ Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) ’, the Deftones song. I feel like they’re just trying to get away, that could be interesting too,” said the protagonist (via Louder Sound ).

According to the actress, who also stars in the hit series Wednesday , the song, translated as "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)," would be ideal for a chase scene with Ghostface .

As for the theme song for her character Tara Carpenter , Jenna Ortega would choose " The Way Out Is Through " by Nine Inch Nails, or " She's Leaving Home " by The Beatles .

Recently, the actress told NME about her musical taste: “I listen to a lot of Discovery (2001) or Homework (1997) by Daft Punk . Those two albums have been heavily featured on my playlist recently. I don’t know why. I think I’m reliving my Daft Punk phase. Director Matt Bettinelli-Olpin , Mason Gooding [ Chad in Scream VI ] and I love Nick Cave ” (via Tenho Mais Discos Que Amigos! ).

“We have a collective playlist where we put a lot of things, and some of the songs that are in the film now are songs that Matt and I were putting on that playlist. We put a lot of Nick Cave stuff on there,” Ortega concluded.
