Jeff Scott Soto will pay tribute to Queen , as well as playing some of his own hits, in a special show in the city of Curitiba. The performance will take place on March 11th at the Hard Rock Cafe .

The first batch of tickets is already on sale on the Showpass . A full-price standing ticket costs 240 reais; however, by donating 1 kg of non-perishable food, it's possible to purchase a half-price promotional ticket.

In addition to Curitiba, Jeff Scott Soto will be visiting several other cities in Brazil. More information about the tour dates in the country can be found on the musician's Instagram post .

"My passion for Queen's music is beyond words, and being in Brazil, for me, is like coming home," the vocalist said in a statement released to the press.

The vocalist has always considered Queen a reference point in his life. In 2003, he released the DVD The JSS Queen Concert – Live at the Queen Convention . A few years later, he also participated in the Queen Extravaganza . “The Queen Extravaganza was a lot of fun. I had a great time singing those songs during the tour,” he said.

About Jeff Scott Soto

The 57-year-old American musician of Puerto Rican descent has been part of many bands throughout his life, such as Journey . However, it was in Talisman that Scott had the chance to blend his musical style of black music with hard rock and pop. He explained: “Everyone saw me as a screaming heavy metal vocalist. Almost no one knew that my roots were in Motown and pop.”

Currently, Jeff pursues both a solo career and performs with the groups Soto and WET . Despite never having had singing lessons, the stage is where he feels happiest.
