Jay shared that the creative process behind these songs dates back to 2017, when he formed a group to play the material during a break from touring. “It was incredible and a huge creative challenge. I hadn’t gone back to those songs since then, until recently when I felt inspired to pick up the guitar again and play these things again,” he explained, highlighting that returning to work with this material has been a rewarding experience.

Therefore, even with band commitments, Weinberg is eager to spend time in the studio, dedicating himself to recording his solo music. "I'm looking forward to you hearing them. When they're ready, you'll know," the drummer concluded.
