Jay Weinberg is ready to embark on a new musical journey. Away from the stage since parting ways with Slipknot November 2023 , the drummer has announced that he will be joining Infectious Grooves on their Australian tour.

The first confirmed performance will take place on April 1st, during the Bluesfest festival in Byron Bay. Jay is temporarily replacing Brooks Wackerman Avenged Sevenfold commitments .

The announcement was made in an Instagram post by the band Suicidal Tendencies Mike Muir 's vocals with Infectious Grooves. In the post, Jay expresses excitement about resuming his career. "I'm honored and thrilled to be heading to Australia with the legendary Infectious Grooves for a special performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest! Stay tuned for more news," he states.
