Online, colleagues and friends of the musician, such as Sebastian Bach , Chris Adler , and Scott Ian , among others, are mourning the loss , and now Jason Bonham has also paid tribute.
The son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham , who also passed away too young at 32, dedicated the song "Stairway To Heaven" to the former Pantera member last Saturday, the 23rd, in Camden, New Jersey.
“It happens so fast and it’s a special song that we didn’t play last year,” Bonham said in a fan-recorded video that you can watch below, “But I felt it was the right thing to do, especially today. The drummer died after suffering a heart attack on Friday night, the 22nd, according to the Las Vegas Review . The family has not yet confirmed the cause of death.
