Another heartwarming record of how we miss Eddie Van Halen . Yesterday, the 13th, Jason Becker , former guitarist for David Lee Roth , shared a moving photo from one of the artist's visits while he was suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 1996.
When visiting his friend, Eddie gifted him a guitar named after his son, Wolfgang , and even played the instrument several times, putting on a real private show while his friend recovered.
In some comments on the video, Becker recalls the difficult period depicted in the recording, but focuses on what he wanted to share with the world, “I wanted to show the incredible love I received from Eddie Van Halen. He wasn't just a guitar master, his heart and soul are here for all to see. What an example of kindness, humility and love, something the world needs now and always. I will never forget my friend.”
