Through their social media channels, Jane's Addiction announced that they will be performing a solo show in São Paulo, at Audio.
The performance takes place on March 23rd, two days before their appearance at Lollapalooza Brazil . The band shares the day with other rock acts such as Yungblud and blink-182 .
So far, these are the only dates for Jane's Addiction in Brazil, but the group will also be touring two other South American countries: Argentina and Chile, which has also been given an extra date.
Tickets are now on sale at the Livepass website.
Jane's Addiction has been a confirmed act at every edition of Lollapalooza, but the band was absent in 2022 due to "unforeseen last-minute circumstances related to COVID-19".
Months later, in May, the group stated that guitarist Dave Navarro had been ill "since December ," suffering from long COVID symptoms. As the illness persists, Navarro is not participating in the Jane's Addiction tour and will be replaced in Brazil by Josh Klinghoffer .
