The holiday season is approaching, and James LaBrie by singing a classic a cappella.
Dream Theater 's lead singer recorded a video message on the Cameo in which he encourages a fan to continue his guitar studies and shares his end-of-year wishes. At the end of the message, LaBrie sings an a cappella excerpt from the Christmas classic "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", which became famous in the voice of Frank Sinatra . Watch it here.
James LaBrie is one of several artists who have joined Cameo , a platform that allows fans to pay a specific amount to receive exclusive video messages from their favorite artists. Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson are two other names that have also recently joined the platform.
James Labrie charges $75 for videos for personal use and $300 for videos for commercial use.
David Ellefson also uses the Cameo, but without singing a cappella.
Although he doesn't sing Christmas classics a cappella, David Ellefson , former bassist of Megadeth , also has a profile on Cameo, a platform where he sells personalized videos to fans around the world.
Blabbermouth recalls , Ellefson left the platform after explicit videos he exchanged with a young woman were released online. A few days after the scandal, the bassist was fired from Megadeth.
