Dream Theater's show scheduled for February 11th was cancelled due to health problems of their vocalist James LaBrie .

The statement was posted on the band's official X (formerly Twitter ), which reads: “To everyone who was going to attend tonight's show in Atlanta, I sincerely apologize for having to cancel the show due to illness. I hope to overcome this as quickly as possible and get back to playing amazing shows on the remaining North American dates. Thank you and see you soon.”

Currently, the band is on tour to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Starting in October 2024, and including a stop in Brazil in December, it marks Mike Portnoy 's return to the stage with the group after a 14-year absence .

On February 7th, the group released the album Parasomnia , which was intended to be the successor to Black Clouds & Silver Linings (2009).
