Iggy Pop's official Facebook page shared a video this week recorded by James Hetfield congratulating the singer on his 70th birthday. The video can be seen below.
Hetfield says: “Hi Iggy, happy 70th birthday. You don’t look a day over 30. I loved meeting you this year and I have nothing but respect and love for everything you’ve done for rebel music. I wanted to say that you are, besides a survivor, an inspiration to me in the battle against aging that I cherish every moment of. So I think everyone, in honor of Iggy’s 70th birthday, should take their shirts off! Keep the faith, brother. Take your shirts off!”
In March, Iggy Pop and Metallica joined forces on stage during a concert in Mexico City.
