James Hetfield , lead singer of the acclaimed American band Metallica , will play a sheriff in the western film The Ticket , scheduled for release in September of this year.
This project marks Hetfield's second film role; his debut was in 2019 playing police officer Bob Hayward in the film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile ( Ted Bundy: The Irresistible Face of Evil ).
The Ticket was directed by Elliot Lester , and tells the story of Reginald, played by Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones , The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes ), a bounty hunter who causes chaos wherever he goes.
The film also features appearances by Juliette Lewis ( Yellowjackets , From Dusk Till Dawn ), Esmé Creed-Miles ( Hanna ) and Levon Hawke .
The Ticket is scheduled to premiere on September 6th, and the chaotic trailer can be viewed below:
