Turnstiles at festivals

In a recent interview with NME , Brendan Yates commented on the band's participation in major festivals such as Glastonbury in 2022: “I think maybe there’s a subconscious way of adapting to wherever you are, whether it’s a room with 50 people or a big festival. You’ll always do exactly what you do and be exactly who you are. I don’t know if that’s a specific thing we do, but maybe it’s more of a subconscious search for ways to connect more.”

Discussing the band's rise to fame, he continued: "The ability to reach whoever is looking for our music and see it happen is always an incredible feeling."

“Since we were able to play live again, the opportunities we’ve been blessed with to play for so many new people… I think playing, no matter who you ask, is always an exciting opportunity, especially never feeling like you’re doing the same thing and that you’re always constantly growing. That doesn’t necessarily mean the size of a crowd, but growing in terms of challenging yourself, putting yourself in new scenarios, and seizing your opportunities to grow in the future.”
