Jake E. Lee , former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne , was shot while walking his dog in Las Vegas early Tuesday morning, the 15th.
According to American radio host Eddie Trunk , Lee is in a local hospital, conscious and recovering. Doctors are optimistic that the musician will make a full recovery. "Jake was shot three times – in the chest, arm, and foot. The bullets didn't hit any vital organs except the lung. But he is expected to make a full recovery." Trunk's information came from the musician's manager.
Local authorities are investigating the shooting, which resulted in Lee being shot multiple times. So far, police believe it was a random act. More information is expected to be released soon.

The guitarist replaced the late Randy Rhoads in the band and was part of two Osbourne albums, Bark At The Moon (1983) and The Ultimate Sin (1986). His work with the Prince of Darkness took place between 1982 and 1987.
