Jake E. Lee, former Ozzy guitarist, wants to tour with the current guitarist.

Jake E. Lee said he would love to tour with Zakk Wylde .

Lee was fired from Ozzy Osbourne in 1987 and replaced by Wylde, who has been playing with the musician, intermittently, for three decades.

He was asked by Guitar World if he planned to tour the Red Dragon Cartel album Patina . Lee replied: “Yes. I don’t think we have any firm commitments other than that we’re going to Japan in April. We’ll probably do an American tour before that. But nothing is set in stone. We’ll probably play bars and clubs, but we’re hoping to do a tour with someone. Ideally, we’d like to do something with Zakk Wylde. I think it would be really cool to have two of Ozzy’s guitarists together.”

Lee also said he thinks the idea has already reached the producers of Wylde. "I don't know Zakk personally," he explained. "I only saw him once and he was 19 – when he was skinny and handsome, you know?" he joked.

“We were at some hotel in LA, Ozzy came in with Zakk and he introduced himself. And he was very nice. I mean, I have nothing against him. I just wish him luck. It was a very quick meeting. But he seemed like a nice guy and he’s always been very kind to me in the press.”
