Another loss for music in 2020: Jack Sherman Red Hot Chili Peppers album , died at age 64, the band confirmed.
“We, the RHCP family, would like to wish Jack Sherman a peaceful journey to other worlds out there, now that he has left us,” the band posted on their social media. “Jack played on our debut album and our first US tour. He was a unique guy and we thank him for all the good times, the bad times, and everything in between.”
Before the band announced his death, a close friend of Sherman, Kevin Rose , posted on his Facebook page about the musician's passing. “I am devastated by the death of my dear friend Jack Sherman, it’s impossible to describe him in words because his music spoke so loudly (…) I will miss his intelligence, the way he played guitar and our lunches and dinners together. I was lucky to know you Jack and our conversations were never empty, you spoke like you played, with fire and intensity, goodnight my friend, may the tone be with you.”
The cause of Jack Sherman's death is still unknown.
