Jack Osbourne , son of the late Ozzy Osbourne , criticized Roger Waters for the comments the
Pink Floyd bassist recently made about his father.
In an interview with The Independent Ink on August 12, Roger Waters said:
“Ozzy Osbourne, who just passed away, may God bless him in whatever state he was in throughout his life. We’ll never know. Although he appeared on TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense. As for music, I have no idea. I don’t give a damn. I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never have. Nor am I interested in biting chicken heads off or whatever they do. I don’t give a damn, you know.”
So, last Tuesday, the 2nd, Jack Osbourne criticized the bassist's statement through an Instagram story. Jack wrote:
"Hey, Roger Waters, go fuck yourself. How pathetic and uninformed you've become. The only way you get attention these days is by spewing nonsense in the press. My father always thought you were an asshole. Thanks for proving him right."
Ozzy Osbourne and Roger Waters
During an interview with Rolling Stone [via Blabbermouth ] in 2004, Ozzy said that Pink Floyd's song "Money" was one of his favorite rock songs, and that it brought back vivid memories of his wilder years. "It reminds me of my LSD days. I'm glad I survived."
Roger Waters, on the other hand, reportedly gave a negative review of Black Sabbath's debut song, "Evil Woman," in 1970, saying at the time: "Well, well, well... I'm speechless—well, almost... You keep thinking it's going to start. You think that for the first minute, but then, if you're really perceptive, you realize it's not going to start, and that's all that happens."
