Tom Morello , Jack Black , and Geezer Butler – from Black Sabbath – were among the guests at Bowl for Ronnie . The annual event aims to raise capital for Ronnie James Dio's .
“Ronnie James Dio was a huge influence on me and a great friend,” Black said. “I miss him terribly. The best heavy metal singer of all time and such a sweet and genuine guy. I wouldn’t miss this opportunity to celebrate him.”
Morello said he didn't know Ronnie very well personally, "but I'm a big fan and anything I can do to honor his memory and help find a cure for cancer, I will do. I have my own bowling ball. I'd come bowling for Dio anytime."
