The official Ratos de Porão confirmed on social media this Tuesday, the 26th, the death of bassist Jarbas Alves , aka Jabá , at the age of 60.
The cause of death has not yet been publicly released, but Jabá was rushed to the hospital in September with "liver problems and a non-functioning kidney." At the time, Ratos de Porão publicly asked for financial help for his treatment, as reported by Roadie Crew .
On their Instagram profile, the band bid farewell to their friend and former member with an old photo and the message: "Rest in peace, friend Jarbas."
