The musician is the only member of the original lineup who has not yet performed at the reunion.

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin told the Wall Street Journal that "that's life... Some things just don't work out" when commenting on his absence from the band's reunion.

Today, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan play alongside vocalist Axl Rose and have been touring together since 2016. In a tweet from that same year, which was quickly deleted from Stradlin's account, he said that the band "didn't want to split the profits equally" and that's why he didn't agree to be part of the reunion.

“The tour is a success for them,” he said, “The reason I didn’t participate is that we couldn’t reach an agreement that everyone was happy with. That’s life… Some things just don’t work out.”

Earlier this year, former Guns N' Roses manager Alan Niven revealed that Stradlin had appeared at one of the band's early shows and participated in the soundcheck, but left before the performance began.

“Of course everything was fine and they were happy, they reminisced about the good times and I’m sure he would have stayed,” said Niven, “But I think something happened that upset him, because he left right after the soundcheck and didn’t show up for any other shows. I think he got angry.”

Currently, Stradlin is the only member of the band's original lineup who has not performed with the band since the reunion. Drummer Steven Adler , who was fired in 1990, has made appearances at a few shows.

The group will return to performing in Europe over the next two months while preparing to embark on an Asian tour in November.
