This week's update to the US rock charts brought the rise of female-fronted bands into the Top 10, with The Pretty Reckless in first place .
With the great results of her fellow artists, Lzzy Hale took the opportunity to congratulate Taylor Momsen , as well as Amy Lee and Jen Majura of Evanescence , who are in eighth position with "Better Without You".
Halestorm also has an achievement of its own to celebrate. The band follows closely behind with the track “Back From The Dead,” released in August , which reached eleventh place. In an initial prediction, the track entered above Volbeat and would have been in tenth position, closing with three bands with female frontwomen in the Top 10, according to Mediabase .
To cap off a fourth female chart success, Lzzy Hale also praised Hayley Cramer of Pop Evil for her sixth-place ranking with the song "Survivor".
“I don’t know if this is the first time with three female-fronted bands on the chart – and to add a fourth, [we have] a badass rock drummer, all in the Top 10 at the same time – but I certainly haven’t seen it before. I’m very honored to be climbing the charts alongside my sisters,” the artist wrote on social media. “But watch out, ladies… I’m closing in… In a race to the top, bitches! Will we see a run from first to fourth place? Nothing is impossible!”
