Ivan Busic releases this Thursday, the 14th, “Let the Night Roll In”, the first single from his new album. A reference on drums and vocals, the musician now also takes on the guitars and acoustic guitars on the work.
The song stems from the influence of Chicago blues shuffle, a genre that brought him closer to names like Muddy Waters and John Mayall. It was alongside his father that Ivan developed, even in childhood, his strong connection with jazz and blues, which remains one of his strongest influences alongside rock.
The new album represents their first major opportunity to delve more deeply into this universe. The rhythmic and festive sound of "Let the Night Roll in" accurately reflects the project's concept.
“It seemed like a good calling card to me,” says Busic. “This album is a life achievement for me, exactly as I dreamed: a raw and direct sound recorded with an ambiance inspired by the sixties. I suggest a comfortable armchair and a drink to let the blues flow.”.
Known for his time with Dr. Sin, one of the most renowned Brazilian hard rock bands, Ivan Busic stands out for his versatility. In addition to singing, he also plays multiple instruments and actively participates in songwriting. His career is marked by technique, energy, and consistency, earning him recognition as one of the most complete artists on the national scene.
