Iron Maiden shared a video recapping the band's most recent tour, The Future Past Tour , which took place between May 28, 2023, and December 7, 2024, totaling 81 shows and an audience of over one million people. The tour focused on the albums Somewhere In Time (1986) and Senjutsu (2021).
It was on this tour that, at the request of many fans, the classic “Alexander The Great” was played live for the first time in the band's history. On the other hand, hits like “Run To The Hills”, “Number Of The Beast” and “Aces High” were set aside to make room for songs from the newest album Senjutsu (2021).
The final show of The Future Past Tour took place at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, marking Nicko McBrain 's last concert with the band after 42 years on the road with Iron Maiden. The group already has a new drummer, Simon Dawson , who is part of British Lion Steve Harris 's project .
Iron Maiden has another tour confirmed: the Run For Your Lives World Tour , which will begin on May 27, 2025, in Budapest, and end in 2026, with no confirmed date. The tour celebrates the band's 50-year history and will feature songs up to Fear Of The Dark (1992).
