Iron Maiden has a great relationship with Brazil, with the country being a sure stop on any of the band's tours. Comedian Gregório Duvivier used this relationship in a comparison to criticize the use of pesticides in the country.
During the second episode of the new season of the Greg News , which aired last week on HBO, the host was criticizing the record approval of pesticide use in Brazilian food when he made the analogy.
“As the rest of the world increasingly bans pesticides, the sector will need somewhere to dump this junk that nobody wants, so Brazil is a kind of OLX of misfortune: send it here, and we'll take care of it. From pesticides to Nazi generals, passing through chloroquine and Iron Maiden. (…) Yes, we've become a kind of Enjoei of the planet,” he said.
