Last Friday, the 18th, Iron Maiden released the 40th anniversary commemorative edition of the album The Number of the Beast – a special edition with three vinyl records.
To mark the occasion, the band also released a remastered version with a new visualizer for the track "Total Eclipse".
The Number of the Beast is Iron Maiden's third studio album and the first to feature Bruce Dickinson on vocals. The special anniversary edition of the album included the Beast Over Hammersmith , which took place in 1982 before the album's release. At the time, fans were unfamiliar with the songs performed and had the chance to hear them live for the first time.
