Tickets for all days of Rock in Rio 2022 are officially sold out! With Iron Maiden as the headliner, Metal Day, which opens the event, took a whole week to sell out, becoming the day with the lowest ticket sales of the festival.
The first six days of the event sold out in just five hours on the 5th – and even then, the rock dates were the last to sell out, with Green Day and Guns N' Roses in last place, respectively.
To everyone's surprise, tickets for September 2nd took seven days to sell out, generating many questions on social media from the public about the headbanger audience, known for complaining about other genres at the event, but apparently uninterested in their own genre in this edition.
On Tuesday the 12th, tickets sold out. With the lineup for all stages announced, Metal Day will still have surprises, as the band Megadeth canceled their performance at Rock In Rio and another band should be announced soon.
